My adventures in Summer CSA canning are officially underway. I never could have eaten all these zucchinis (7 cups worth of sliced squash) before they expired – so now I’ll enjoy them in…December!
These are flavored with turmeric, mustard & celery seeds, from the Ball Complete Book of Home Preserving book.
Doing a small-batch like 3 pint jars was good to both dive in and also figure out what I need to adjust physically in my kitchen and also what I need moving forward.
Next up: green beans and peas, among others. And definitely some chutney on the horizon. Definitely chutney!
I am looking to try out some lacto-fermentation with my garden stuffs this year.
