There are incredible overtones in the language used by Brooklyn borough prez Eric Adams – “We will not surrender our public safety to anyone” and the “quality of life” chokehold-killing of Eric Garner in Staten Island.
It’s incredible when pols don’t realize the sensitivity of their own language and what else is going on in the borough/s around them. Eric Adams is espousing the obvious rhetoric without thought, empathy, or compassion.
If flying a #whiteflag on the #BrooklynBridge is someone’s idea of a joke, I’m not laughing. We won’t surrender our public safety to anyone.

I would truly love to hear an argument how the ‘security of others’ was somehow put at risk with two white flags, keeping in mind Eric Garner’s life was terminated due to a ‘security of others’ “quality of life” protocol:
Political and social expression, whatever its message may be, has a place in our society, but not at the expense of others’ security.

Idiot.
