departure from JFK to SFO – sit on the right side for a view of NYC

Whenever I depart NYC I always think, “Which side of the plane do I want to sit on for a window view of the boroughs?”

I search, I read, I never find out. So finally, note to self, when departing from JFK to SFO get a seat on the right side of the plane for this view:
