the studio is a fun place! (as it should be)

this is further work in progress. unsure where it’s going, really. have been thinking a lot about the head as a ‘container’.

source-image from lifestyle magazine shows someone desire-able, a slick and sexy face. chiseled. airbrushed. golden skin. the works!

but while these source-image faces are slick they are somewhat ambiguous. they are not recognizable people, just ‘models’, but whoever they are they had heads, and those heads contained things: brain, memories, desires, tastebuds, etc. in other words, the head is a complicated space.
