Couple quick reasons for this:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>George Lucas himself always put me off from becomming a true fan<\/li>\n<li>I much prefer a sojourn to a battle<\/li>\n<li>Jar Jar Binks (nuff said)<\/li>\n<li>Geordie La Forge&#8217;s otchkies<\/li>\n<li>Star Trek does justice to both the television and film formats; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.starwarsholidayspecial.com\/\">Star Wars has never had good television presence<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>real science potential: holodecks and transporters<\/li>\n<li>Earl Grey Tea, hot.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>.<br \/>\nHOWEVER, I&#8217;ve always been a fan of Star Wars fans, and their general obsessiveness with their own fandom and the iconography and history\/ies of their universe and their commitment to finding it here on planet Earth.
