The interview is pretty good, as Wahler (whom I never met from <a href=\"http:\/\/swissinstitute.net\/\">Swiss Institute<\/a>, but saw some of his curated shows) is definitely fighting for very specific concerns, and is especially mindful of younger artists &#8211; the &#8216;MODULES&#8217; concept is particularly exciting &#8211; as well as how information is distributed to the public (as in their newly launched quarterly <a href=\"http:\/\/palaisdetokyo.com\/5milliards\/magpalais.php#palais\">Palais<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>And I have to say Wahler&#8217;s final comments about mobility in Europe made me &#8211; and I&#8217;ve already been contemplating this a lot lately &#8211; reminisce about <a class=\"imagelink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nicknormal.com\/normalblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2006\/12\/interview-london.jpg\" title=\"view of London skyline, west from WC1\" rel=\"lightbox\">my time in London<\/a> versus <a class=\"imagelink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nicknormal.com\/normalblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2006\/12\/interview-nyc.jpg\" title=\"times square billboard collage\" rel=\"lightbox\">my time in NYC<\/a> which is, as Wahler highlights, difficult at best &#8212; there really is a difference of &#8216;time&#8217; based on one&#8217;s locality.<\/p>\n<div class='ctx-module-container ctx_default_placement ctx-clearfix'><\/div><span class=\"ctx-article-root\"><!-- --><\/span>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Artkrush interviewed Marc-Olivier Wahler last month about his recent appointment to Director of the Palais de Tokyo in Paris.
