Here is an image<\/a> of my rooftop from this morning. It’s a really nice snow, at least 4″ thick so far, steadily approaching more<\/em>! I was supposed to go upstate this weekend. I’ve only had two Saturdays off since Thanksgiving, tomorrow being the second, and was hoping to get a weekend in the Catskills<\/a>. Unfortunately my ride couldn’t make it into the city for obvious reasons. I could take a bus, but end up having to pay $40 and probably be delayed 2-4 hours because of the weather. Additionally, I’m starting to come down with something, illness. Nearly everybody I live with has gotten sick over the past 6 weeks, so it’s no surprise, but I haven’t gotten sick in over 10 months so I’m hoping it’s just a slight sore throat (woke up with) and a mild headache (came on one hour ago). Hopefully it’ll pass. If I wind up not being able to travel upstate, I guess it’s best to beef up my immunity now, when going outside would prove exhaustive at best.
