a few months ago i visited Coney Island’s Nathan’s Original Famous Frankfurters hot dog stand with my mates Josh and Ashley when they were in-town visiting from St. Louis. Josh and Ash are both fans of eating competitions, and yearn to visit again during the annual hot dog eating contest, and hopefully get to see Takeru Kobayashi eat over 50 hot dogs!
Kobayashi has re-defined the rules of competitive eating, not only surpassing every other human’s abilities, but even willing to challenge an Alaskan bear in the-first-to-50 hot dogs:
