my friend Jessica Thompson writes me from Toronto to go to this exhibition opening tomorrow (she’s familiar with some of the people involved). There are always so many things going on so you’re looking for the odd-thing-out or the event a little off-kilter. This might be it. (Plus it comes from Jessica’s recommendation and she’s good people so I trust her judgement)
Charmaine Wheatley will be having a standard opening and book signing for a new comic, but the event is to be followed by a ‘cardboard hot tub party’ – need I say more?
(I mean, I love cardboard, I love hot tubs, and I love speedos – perfect trio combo!)
