Giuseppe “Don1” Palattella is the subject of a new book out by Louie “KR.ONE” Gasparro titled Don1, the King from Queens: The Life and Photos of a NYC Transit Graffiti Master; the first round of reviews are in and they’re favorable to say the least. The book sheds textual and visual light on one of the unsung heroes of subway art; @149 Street has a great write-up. Here’s a little more on Don1’s history. I’ve added the book to my Wish List and will pick it up soon.
