this week in geek – Star Wars mania!
Truth be told I’m more of a star TREK geek than a wars one. Couple quick reasons for this:
- George Lucas himself always put me off from becomming a true fan
- I much prefer a sojourn to a battle
- Jar Jar Binks (nuff said)
- Geordie La Forge’s otchkies
- Star Trek does justice to both the television and film formats; Star Wars has never had good television presence.
- real science potential: holodecks and transporters
- Earl Grey Tea, hot.

HOWEVER, I’ve always been a fan of Star Wars fans, and their general obsessiveness with their own fandom and the iconography and history/ies of their universe and their commitment to finding it here on planet Earth. See for yourself:
With this next one even I had to give a double-take. I mean, srysly? A trashcan? Sunglasses? are those light sabers actually dildos or frozen condoms? WTF?!
